One day, kudin and kasim went to find firewood in a forest. They went quite deep into the forest. after a while, they saw a suibtable tree. the thet cut down the tree to make firewood.
While they were chopping the tree,a big bear suddenly appeared from among the tress. The bear was going near to them. When kudin saw the bear, he became frightened. He ran away quikly and climbed up a tall tree.
Kassim was shocked to see the bear. however, he had no time to escape. then he tried to find a way to save himself. when the bear came nearer to him, kassim laid flat face on the ground. he held his breath and pretended to be dead.
The bear sniffed at the kassim's body, face, nose and ears. after that he licked on kassim's cheecks but kassim still didn't move.
"Ah, this is a dead person! i dont want to eat a dead person," the bear thought. when he saw that kassim was not moving at all, the bear moved away.
When the bear had left, Kassim stood up. Kudin was happpy to see that his friend was safe. He came down from the tree. "Thank God, you are safe! When you pretended to be dead just now, i saw that the bear was talking to you. what did the bear say to you?" asked kudin.
"The bear told me that a good friend would not leave his friend who is in trouble," answered kassim.
MORAL VALUE
A friend in need is a friend indeed!
